IT IS VITAL TO MAINTAIN YOUR RADIATOR AND ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM

The moving parts in your vehicle’s engine can cause friction when you drive, which generates heat. The cooling system in your vehicle pumps coolant (which is a mixture of antifreeze and water) through the engine chambers and absorbs the excess heat that is generated. The radiator serves to remove the extra heat, which allows the coolant to continue circulating. These are basic functions that keep your vehicle’s engine temperature at a safe level and protect it from heat damage. It essential to have a well maintained cooling system to keep your vehicle in peak performance and also ensures that your engine will run better and longer.

KLAHANIE SERVICE GUARANTEE :

One year 12,000 mile warranty on parts and labor.  We stand behind all services we perform.

We Offer Radiator Flush & Repair Services

A radiator fluid flush will keep your vehicle running cool under the hood. This may involve a simple flush, part replacement or more comprehensive repairs. According to most vehicle manufacturers, antifreeze replacement should be done at set time intervals or by mileage. When you bring in your vehicle to Klahanie Service Center, our expert technicians will thoroughly check your vehicle’s cooling system and determine what services or parts may be needed.

Klahanie Service Center does more than just the standard “drain and fill”. We will perform a radiator fluid exchange service, which includes:

  • Inspect cooling system and perform pressure test for leaks
  • Add flush chemicals to the radiator
  • Perform a machine power flush
  • Refill appropriate level of antifreeze/coolant
  • Add lubricant/sealant

At Klahanie Service Center, our expert technicians will provide a comprehensive steering and suspension service for your vehicle. Our complete system inspection and evaluation includes:

  • A complete inspection of shocks, springs and struts for signs of wear and/or damage
  • Replace damaged, missing or worn out steering or suspension components which are not performing as they should
  • Repair any other suspension mechanisms needed to get your vehicle running safely on the road

Replacing steering and suspension components may alter existing wheel angles, for this we recommend a wheel alignment with this service.

Our steering and suspension services (with the exception of drive-train mechanisms) are guaranteed by Klahanie Service Center for 12 months or 12K miles (whichever comes first), for standard parts and labor.

Why do I need my steering and suspension parts serviced?

The suspension and steering in your vehicle is accountable to provide maximum riding comfort and optimal handling. Normal road conditions can wear out the struts, shocks and springs in your suspension system, which will weaken over time and limit your vehicle’s safety, stability tire wear and driver handling.

When should I have my steering and suspension checked?

It is advised by most vehicle manufacturers to have a steering and suspension system inspection every 50,000 miles. However, if you should notice warning signs such as these, you should bring your vehicle in for an inspection of your shocks and struts sooner:

  • Loud or excessive sounds when driving over bumps
  • A shaky or bumpy ride
  • Atypical bouncing or straying
  • Steering wheel is crooked
  • Uneven wear of tires
Engine Repair

Engine – Repair

MAINTAINING YOUR ENGINE IS VITAL

Your engine is an amazing device- it gives your vehicle the power to drive, with some gas, air and a spark. If you treat engine maintenance as a top priority, your engine will serve you well and go the distance. Every engine has its own specific needs. Engine performance depends on several factors, such as the way you drive (if you drive it hard, you will wear it out sooner). At Klahanie Service Center, our expert technicians will help you get the best performance from your engine. Whatever brings you in- a check-engine light, repair or maintenance, we will give you excellent care, advice and service.

Engine Performance

On occasion, your vehicle’s engine may need more than a simple tune-up. If your “Check Engine” or  “Service Engine Soon” light  is illuminated, your engine is in need of diagnostic testing. Our certified technicians will inspect your engine and let you know exactly what is causing the warning lights to come on. If you should fail an emissions test, we can also perform an emissions diagnostic to determine what repairs may be needed in order to pass the emissions test.

After the engine diagnostic is completed, our technicians may advise specific engine maintenance and/or service of other engine mechanisms for optimal performance. These services may require the following parts:

  • Distributor cap & rotor
  • Vapor canister filter
  • Engine sensors & diagnostics
  • Fuel pump
  • Crankcase vent filter
  • Oil & oil filter change
  • Crankcase ventilation (PVC) valve
  • Ignition module
  • Ignition wires
  • Ignition coil pack
  • Emissions control system

We will explain any and all recommendations we make in detail and thoroughly answer any questions you may have. We will only provide services and/or repairs that are approved by you. Our expert technicians will give you the utmost complete and quality service, as well as the best advice for your vehicle’s specific needs.

Engine Rebuilt

Engine – Rebuilt

Rebuilt Engines

One of the most important components of a vehicle is the engine. Normal everyday driving over time can cause the engine to develop problems. It is crucial for the engine to be maintained regularly for optimal performance and prevention of major problems later on.

If the engine should fail, there are two options for the owner: buy a costly brand new engine or buy a rebuilt engine. If rebuilt expertly and properly, remanufactured engines provide great savings and top performance.

The engine is known as the heart of a vehicle and offers enough power to transport the vehicle from point A to point B. Optimal performance is necessary for dependable and safe driving.

Electrical

Electrical

Electrical

All vehicles need to be safely and reliably operating, which requires a fully functional electrical system

At Klahanie Service Center, our technicians use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot your vehicle’s electrical system, data, and to isolate the cause of any electrical issues. Our electrical system service includes:

  • Thoroughly inspect your battery and condition of the case
  • Check that your battery is delivering enough power, replace battery if needed
  • Inspect and adjust electrical cable connections as needed
  • Perform engine diagnostics if needed, to troubleshoot advanced or complex systems and electrical problems

Why do I need to get a vehicle electric system service?

There are many electrical components in your vehicle, and they are all required to route power throughout the electrical system. These components can differ greatly due to vehicle make, model and age. The electrical system consists of the battery, starter and alternator. Newer vehicles have more complex electrical systems, which affect functions of brakes, sensors, steering, etc. This complexity can make it difficult to pinpoint specific problems, which is why we use the latest in diagnostic equipment. Most issues however, can be traced to the battery.

When is it time to have my vehicle’s electrical system inspected?

The average life span of a battery is between 3 and 7 years. For proper safety, it is recommended to replace your battery every 4 years. You should have your vehicle’s electrical system checked right away if you notice the following warning signs:

  • Your engine won’t turn over and you hear grinding or clicking or no sound when your turn your keyl
  • The lights on your dashboard are dimly illuminated
  • Your headlights dim as you decrease speed or idle at a stop
